To mark International Yoga Day next Saturday (23 June) Nisha Srivastava – who has worked with Saints, Everton and local rugby club Haydock RLFC – is inviting men, women and children to join her at the foot of The Dream sculpture in Sutton Manor as a way of developing the borough’s arts and culture scene.
This will be the fourth time that Nisha, who is originally from India where the word yoga means union, has held free yoga sessions at The Dream which have proved a popular way of bringing the community together.
Those wanting to take part are asked take along their own yoga mat; wear appropriate clothing such as soft shoes; take their own water – and wear sunscreen if the weather is hot.
Yoga at The Dream will take place from 11:00am to 12:00pm – and although this is a free event, places must be booked in advance by visiting https://bookwhen.com/northwestpilatesandyoga
Free car parking is available at King George V car park (Jubits Lane), St Helens, WA9 4BB.
